In each glass a piezo loudspeaker is placed. Sine waves are played over the piezo speakers, vibrating the glasses and adding each glasse's unique resonance to the resonance of the space. The sine waves occur at irregular intervals, with the result that at times several glasses are vibrating and and times none.

"Gläser" is not just about the beautiful sound of the vibrating drinking glasses, but more a way of creating an ever-changing audio topography and giving the installation visitor a way of exploring the sonic properties of the installation space.
