8 channel / 32 speaker site-specific installation for the
former Lamparna coal mining facility.
At variable intervals low frequency sine waves vibrate pebbles placed inside each of the 32 speakers.
The exact frequency of the sine waves depends on the size of the pebbles used and the cicrumference of the speakers. The pebbles were collected around Labin and the nearby beaches.
Eight different groupings of speakers placed throughout the room create a shifting audio topography as the sound of vibrating pebbles slowly moves about the space.
