Gregor Hotz moved to Berlin from Zürich, Switzerland in the mid-1990's and became active in Berlin's new music scene. He has been active as a curator (the International Solo Festival, «solala») and participatied in the establishment of clubs (Anorak, Ausland) which served as vital focal points in Berlin's new music community.
Hotz has collaborated with Nicholas Bussmann, Burkhard Beins, Tony Buck, Konrad und Johannes Bauer, Axel Dörner, Wolfgang Fuchs, Michael Gross, Robin Hayward, Aleks Kolkowski, Hans Koch, Cristoph Kurzmann, Butch morris, Günter Müller, Rudi Mahall, Andrea Neumann, Margrit Rieben, Olaf Rupp, Michael Thieke, Jacob Thein and Joe Williamson. He has two CD's on the Berlin FMP label.
