This piece was composed for a group of musicians I met on my first visit to Seoul in 2006. We stayed in touch and in 2009 I had the chance to visit Seoul again. Part of this visit involved composing and recording this piece. The title is taken from the performance space "Dotolim" where the piece was recorded and where many of these musicians meet to play. The direction this piece took had a lot to do with the size of Dotolim, which actually doesn't fit much more than ten people! I wanted to compose a piece which reflected the density (and intensity) of playing in this space.
